Maps under construction

The exhibition presented part of the contemporary art collection that has made up the Siqueiros Project: Sala de Arte Público + La Tallera since its unification in 2009 and the beginning of its collecting policies in 2012. It also brings together pieces from other museums from the INBA –Museum of Modern Art, Museo Tamayo, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil and Laboratorio Arte Alameda– which have dealt with the growth of collections from the same period. This exhibition introduce the public to the processes of art collections construction and pointed out the narratives of contemporary art in Mexico, through public policies.
